MDECA E-Mail Accounts
VMS Account |
|
This is the most
common type of account. It permits interactive logins
using a text terminal or terminal emulator (via TELNET
or other connection). It is the type of account used if
you are a user of USPS, USAS, SIS, EMIS, etc. In regards
to email, it is also the most flexible. A user with a
VMS account may login interactively and use VMS Mail,
PMDF Mail or PINE. They may also use either POP or IMAP
with a mail client (such as Netscape, MS Outlook,
Eudora, etc.) to read and send mail. |
