Report Card Entry Page

The enter key will act like the tab key on Internet Explorer 6 and above.

Added a popup error message in addition to a red asterisk if the user has entered invalid data.

Hidden students will no longer be used to build the list of available report cards.

 

5 Day View Page

Content Taught Report

The Content Taught Report can now be requested to show all indicators including those that have not yet been taught.

 

Lunch Counts

Corrected a problem that caused the lunch counts to be recorded incorrectly.

 

Dashboard

Changed the sort order of dated assignments to due date, sequence number, assignment description.

 

All Reports

Occasionally, reports would display incorrect information in the page header.  (ex. The header would name student 1 but the report details would be for student 2.)   This has been corrected on all reports.

PDF reports will now open automatically for Mac users.

 

Report Request Pages

Eliminated hidden students from all report request pages.

 

Grid View

Corrected a problem that caused the Colors/Codes list to contain duplicate choices.

 

Email Address Update

Teachers with multiple accounts were only able to update their email address on one account.  The program will now update all accounts.

 

Class Roster Report

Added 10 blank columns to the report for manually recording attendance or grades.

 

Homeroom Roster Report

Added 10 blank columns to the report for manually recording attendance or grades.

 

Student Progress Report

The teacher’s first name has been added to the report.

 

Homeroom Attendance

Students with an enrollment status of D (deleted) will no longer be displayed.

 


 

Principal Enhancements & Corrections

 

Parent Access

Added access by student to the Parent Access system.

 

Student Progress Report

Added a report that shows assignment marks, class attendance, and comments for selected students.

 

Daily ProgressBook Attendance Report

Enhanced the program to only display the schools that the principal is allowed to access.

 

Report Card Verification Report

Excluded classes from being reported if they don’t meet during the requested reporting period.

 

 

 

 

Administrative Enhancements & Corrections

 

User Admin Page

Corrected problems that occurred when users had single quotes in the first or last names.

 

All Reports

Parent Access Account Creation

Added a new option that will create parent access accounts for all students who do not have accounts.  This program will not delete or change existing accounts.

 

Report Card Builder

Removed the tabs for Mappings and Messages for secondary style report cards.

 

 

 

 

Food Services Enhancements & Corrections

 

Lunch Counts

Corrected a problem that occasionally caused the lunch counts to be recorded incorrectly.

 

Lunch Count Detail Report

Corrected the report to sort by teacher.

Added the class name or homeroom where the teacher recorded the lunch counts.

 

 

 


 

Report Card Enhancements & Corrections

 

*    For batch report cards, that calculate semester averages from the grade book averages, and have an exam: a problem was corrected that caused the exam’s percentage to update in SIS instead of a letter grade.

 

*    Corrected a problem with the semester average calculation that caused the program to use old marks from ProgressBook instead of newer marks from SIS.

 

*    Corrected a problem that caused protected marks (such as withdrawals) to be overwritten.

 

*    Added rounding to two decimal places on the semester average calculation to prevent the average from falling in a gap in the grading scale.

 

*    Changed the report card entry page so that it would no longer write a record in ProgressBook for a blank grade.  This change should significantly reduce the number of duplicates that occur with elementary report cards.

 

*    Report card error messages (such as “No Students Found”) will be displayed on the report card request page instead of the error page.

 

*    On the Report Card Entry page, hidden students will no longer be used to build the list of available report cards.

 

*    Corrected a problem with the font size on the tri-fold report card template, 4 column mark section.
