03/27/08SETTING MGMT SCREEN TO DISPLAY REPORTS SMOOTHLY OR QUICKLY
If you wish to display a batch job or report from the MGMT screen to your pc monitor, there is an option in SIS/Reflections software to select Smooth Scrolling to limit the speed at which new lines appear on the screen. This allows you to view the data on your pc monitor screen as it slowly scrolls by. Use the Scroll Lock key to interrupt scrolling, and then press the Scroll Lock key again to resume scrolling.
Alternately use Jump Scrolling, which allows lines to be displayed quickly, if you want to quickly scroll to the end of the display on your pc monitor screen.
Steps to use Smooth/Jump ScrollFrom the MDECA5- Reflections Tool Bar at the top of the screen select: 1. Setup 2. Display A Display Setup window similar to the screen copy below will open. From the Display Setup window select: 3. Screen Tab On the Screen Tab window there will be options for Scrolling. Select either: 4. Smooth or Jump
VERTICAL SCROLL BAR
The vertical scroll bar on the right edge of the SIS/Reflections software window allows users to view data or report contents that are not entirely visible on their monitor screen. When you are using Action Code Display from MGMT, you can use your mouse to ‘grab’ the scroll bar and drag it slowly up to where the report text or data is that you want to view on your screen. The scroll bar does not display in the window when there is no more text in display memory (i.e. if a report has 10 pages, the display memory may only have 3 or 4 pages in memory to ‘go back’ to).
