MEMB/MEMS SCREENS

STUDENT MEMBERSHIPS 

Use MEMB to define the groups and teams to which each student belongs.   Use MEMS to define students who are members of a group or team.  Use MEMB/MEMS screens to enter program codes in SIS. 

 

A program code is to be reported for each program in which the student participated at any time during the year.  If the student was in the program and then withdrew during the year, the program code is still reported.  Use MEMB/MEMS screens to update program codes in SIS. All buildings must report student program codes. A complete listing of codes and descriptions can be found in Appendix E of the EMIS guide.

 MEMB – Student Control Group Membership


This screen is used to define the groups and teams to which each student belongs. In addition to specifying the group, the student’s status within the group is also indicated. Once defined in MEMB, rosters of special groups may be produced using R102 – Student Roster by Control Group.

 

 

Student ID             Enter a student ID as defined on corresponding STUD – Student Master Record.

 

Name                    Student name is displayed for verification.

 

School Year          Enter a two-digit school year to indicate the school year the student was a member of the corresponding group.

 

Term                     Enter a term as defined in P105 – School Terms to indicate the term in which a student will be a member of the corresponding group.

 

Student Control

Group                   Enter a code as defined in P305 – Student Control Groups to indicate the group to which the student belongs.

 

Student Control

Code                     Enter a code as defined in P306 – Student Control Codes to indicate the student’s status within the above group.

 

 

MEMS – Student Group Members

 

This screen is used to display the students who are members of a group or team as defined in MEMB – Student Control Group Membership. Students may be displayed within groups based on school year or membership status within a control group. Rosters of control groups can be produced using R102 – Student Roster by Control Group.

 


 

School Year          Enter a two-digit school year to indicate the school year the students were members of the applicable group.

 

Control Group       Enter a code as defined in P305 – Student Control Groups to indicate the code corresponding to the group or team to be displayed. 

 

Control Code        Enter a code as defined in P306 – Student Control Codes to indicate the status of members within the above control group you wish to view.  Leave this field blank to view all members regardless of status.   

 

Student ID             Displays the student ID corresponding to the control group as defined on STUD – Student Master Record.

 

Student Name        Displays the name of the control group member as defined on STUD.
